Mohammad Nezam Uddin Chy is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET), where he has been employed since December 19, 2024. Before this, he worked as a lecturer in the same department from July 17, 2022, to December 18, 2024.

He received his B.Sc. (May 2021) and M.Sc. (August 2024) in Mechanical Engineering from CUET. His research interests are on lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) and heat transfer processes. His current research focuses on examining the performance of LIBs and increasing their performance in diverse applications by utilizing different anode materials. He also worked on sophisticated heat transfer methods for optimizing energy systems, with a focus on increasing energy efficiency and sustainability.
