About Myself

Md. Asifur Rahman is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology (CUET). His academic specialization lies in Structural Engineering, with a research focus on construction materials and concrete.

Mr. Rahman received his M.S. (2025) and B.S. (2021) in Civil Engineering from Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology, Bangladesh

Before joining CUET, Mr. Rahman began his academic career as a Lecturer at Presidency University (PU), Dhaka, where he worked from September 5, 2021, to February 21, 2022. He then joined the Civil Engineering department at Dhaka University of Engineering & Technology (DUET), Gazipur, and worked as a Lecturer from February 22, 2022, to July 16, 2022.

During his tenure at DUET, Mr. Rahman contributed significantly to both academic instruction and testing services. He was an active member of the Consultancy Research & Testing Services (CRTS), delivering testing and consultancy services to various government agencies, NGOs, and private sector organizations. At present, he continues his engagement in consultancy and testing services as a member of the Bureau of Research, Testing, and Consultation (BRTC) at CUET.

In addition to his academic and research roles, Mr. Rahman serves as the undergraduate course coordinator for 2022 batch, CE (Session: 2022-2023). He is also an executing member (Publication Secretary) at the CUET Teachers’ Association (Tenure: 2024–2025).
