Maisha is currently pursuing her PhD at Texas A&M University, USA. She holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology (CUET), Bangladesh. Her field of interest lies in aerosol science and atmospheric chemistry, where she is dedicated to exploring innovative solutions to environmental challenges.

During her MSc thesis, Maisha worked  on studying the sources, chemical composition, and atmospheric behavior of PM2.5 to better understand its role in respiratory and cardiovascular diseases. She has also analyzed the long-term impacts of PM2.5 exposure, particularly in urban environments, where high concentrations pose significant health risks. By integrating data from air quality monitoring and advanced analytical techniques, her research aims to provide actionable insights for improving public health and developing effective mitigation strategies.
