About Myself
I am currently working as Research Assistant Professor at the "Institute of Earthquake Engineering Research" of "Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology", Chittagong, Bangladesh. My research focuses on the risk and resilience assessment of infrastructure systems with the application of probabilistic approaches, soft computing and machine learning techniques. My research interests include Risk, Reliability & Resilience Analysis of Interdependent Critical Infrastructures; Structural Condition Assessment, Monitoring and Intelligent Control; Multi-Hazard Performance-Based Engineering; Digital Twins for Infrastructures Resilience and Decision Making; Finite Element Modeling, Updating and System Identification; Data-driven Modeling, Bayesian Estimation and Uncertainty Quantification. My research emphasizes on risk, reliability and resilience of structures and infrastructures exposed to multiple hazards (e.g. Earthquake, Flood & Cyclone) incorporating ageing, deterioration and climate change.
